March 3rd 2002 : The first race of the all new for 2002 Uncle Kals Pacific Coast Scale Racing Series was held on Sunday March 3rd on the Korkscrew track. 4 Classes were raced 1/24 Plafit/Falcon with LMP bodies., IMCA GP-10 by Pacific Northwest IMCA rules. (Ultimate Bods), GT-12  and 1/24 Eurosport

Rules Summary

  • Plafit bodies : GT 1 Bodies, no height requirement so slam them on the ground. Back of body may be cut
  • GT 10 Bodies, GT 12 Bodies and Eurosport Bodies. Ultimate bodies allowed, but nothing more radical than the Parma Magnum.
  • All Classes - No Track Calls (except for actual track problems and absolutely unmarshallable cars)
  • No working on cars with tools between heats. Braid cleaning and oiling only between heats
  • All tire changing or car repairs must be made under green race conditions.
  • No clearance rule in all classes
  • Tires may be changed after qualifying, before racing.

The series will run monthly with all races being held on the Uncle Kals Korkscrew track. Doors open at 7:00AM / Signups and Tech at 8:30AM See Ya There!!
