The SoCal USRA Scale division held it's final race for 2004 at Uncle Kal's on November 20th. All the usual SoCal classes, 4" Stockcar (Hillclimb), 4.5" Stockcar (Hillclimb), GT 1(Engleman) and Gt 12 (Engleman) were raced. |

Kal's Fall Classic |
Scale racing returns to Uncle Kal's with the 2004 Fall Classic on October 29th, 30th and 31st. There were races for Falcon F1/Indycars, C Can F1/Indycars, 4" Stckcar, 4.5" Stockcar, Junior and Senior Deathstars, Sport Trucks, GT 1, GT 12, 1/24th Eurosport and Wing Group 12. The SoCal USRA Scale division held Round 2 for 2004 at Uncle Kal's Model Car Raceway on Saturday February 21st 2004. Classes raced were 4&4.5" NASCAR on the Engleman and GT1 & GT 12 on the Korkscrew. to the Hillclimb Race |
On August
9th 2003 Uncle Kal's farewelled the old
Grandstand Hillclimb that has served so well since opening. Classes raced
included 4" NASCAR, Rally Cars, Indy
Cars, Dathstars and Group 12 Wing Cars.

The 2003 SoCal USRA Scale racing got underway on Saturday Jan 25th, with the first round being held at Uncle Kal's. The huge turnout of 116 entries was the biggest one day turnout anyone could remember for a long time, proving that scale racing is on the increase in Southern California once more. The racing was fast, and very close, especially in the Amateur ranks where semi finals were held in all classes for the first time in a long time. Click here for links to the results and pictures. |
